Borussia Mönchengladbach will play their first friendly match of the pre-season on Saturday (July 9, 2022) at 3 pm against the French Ligue 2 club Le Havre AC. Head coach Adi Hütter knows that his team will have to show a lot of seriousness in order to be successful. "Le Havre is a very good team, which has already played a few friendly matches and is therefore a bit further ahead than us in terms of preparation," said Hütter at the pre-match press conference.

"We will have to be very serious and focused for 90 minutes," said Hütter. "We want to win the game and also play well. We want to show what we have been working on in training in the last few weeks." Hütter also knows that the game against Le Havre will be a good test for his team ahead of the upcoming season. "It will be a good opportunity for us to see where we stand and what we still need to work on," said Hütter.
