Early Life and Education
Semih Genç was born on January 1, 1970, in Istanbul, Turkey. He is the eldest son of a Turkish father and a Bosnian mother. Semih's father was an engineer, and his mother was a teacher. Semih spent his early childhood in Istanbul, but his family moved to Ankara when he was 10 years old. He attended elementary and middle school in Ankara and then went on to study at Hacettepe University, where he earned a degree in political science and international relations.
Professional Career
After graduating from university, Semih worked as a journalist for several years. He then entered the world of politics, serving as an advisor to the Turkish Prime Minister.
