At Least 4 Dead in Oklahoma as Nighttime Tornadoes Strike
An infant girl was among those who died.
More than 30,000 customers were without power in Oklahoma as of midday Sunday.
At least four people were killed, including a four-month-old baby, and scores were injured in Oklahoma after a series of tornadoes tore through the state overnight, authorities said.
The tornadoes were part of a severe weather system that also spawned tornadoes in Kansas and Iowa.
The deadliest tornado touched down in the town of Ringling, where it killed the infant and three other people.
The tornadoes also caused widespread damage to homes and businesses. More than 30,000 customers were without power in Oklahoma as of midday Sunday.
The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for parts of Oklahoma, Kansas, and Iowa until 10 p.m. CDT.
